Meet Checkers  – an adorable artist teddy bear

designed and created by me, Laura Lynn.

Checkers was made out of  curly stone colored mohair with a dark backing and a curly chocolate brown mohair.

He has a black hand stitched nose, black glass eyes and a carefully trimmed face.

Checkers is part of my Pocket Bear Collection.

My Pocket Bears are fully disc and cotter pin jointed and do not have paw or foot pads.

 He measures 6 3/4″tall,  a touch over 5 1/4″ sitting and can stand up by himself with a little help.

Checkers has been filled with many hugs, and also fiberfill and steel beads for a nice hefty feel.
